Recently The Ford Family Foundation completed a report looking at the cost gap that hits rural areas of Oregon. They attribute this cost gap as a part of the reason it is hard for child care providers and program to stay open. When the Cost per Child is near the same across the state, this report shows that the amount of state supported funding is not.
